Description Safehip provides proven protection against hip fractures caused by falls. Safehip is made using two light, yet extremely strong, hip protecting shells sewn into high quality underwear. Many successful clinical trials have been carried out world wide. On impact, the protective shell springs in a little, thus spreading the impact out in time, thus again reducing the energy peak on the surrounding tissues. Finally, the curved outer surface of the protective shells will encourage the wearer to roll on impact, so diverting some of the fall energy into the roll, and again reducing the effect of the impact. Safehip Classic is available in both female and male versions (with fly opening) and comes in a range of sizes.
