Description Martin ME102 Diathermy Unit Complete with Accessories  - The compact electrosurgical unit with high capacity offering the most efficient electro-surgery technique available. Malignant and benign lesions are treated effectively with little or no secondary tissue damage. Ideally suited for small surgical procedures and dermatological operations. Diathermy utilises electrical current travelling between the diathermy tips to the operating field. The current then travels harmlessly back through the patient to the patient electrode and back to the machine. The cutting and co-agulating effect from a diathermy is caused by electrical current passing through the tissue cells of the patient.
