Description CELOX-A Hemorrhage control Applicator, the Celox applicator is a specifically designed delivery system that gives you an easy, safe and effective way to stop life-threatening bleeding from difficult to treat penetrating trauma. The instinctive applicator allows the introduction of Celox granules through a small entry wound, directly to the bleeding site in just a few seconds.  The applicator is vacuum packed, sterile and lightweight, and can be easily stored within your existing trauma pouch. Recognizing the demand for an application-specific solution to this issue, an applicator delivery system that addresses the needs of EMS providers, physicians, and medical providers in remote settings. The applicator and plunger system now make it possible for the haemostatic agent to reach deep into the site of a traumatic wound, getting straight to the source of bleeding. Each package contains two applicator/plunger sets with 6g (0.2oz) of Celox granule in each. Features: CELOX® Hemostat does not generate any heat, produce burning, nor does it embed itself into the wound. CELOX controls haemorrhaging at all blood temperatures, even hypothermic patients. CELOX blood stopping granules are lightweight, packaged in sterilized, sealed packets which are easy and fast to open. Clots Heparinzed Blood (works on patients taking blood thinning medications).
