Description SteriCLin Browne Bowie-Dick Test Packs are used for autoclave equipment control to verify possible defects in order to minimise cross contamination. Bowie Dick type test is an accepted method of testing the steam penetration and air removal capability of a vacuum sterilizer which helps you to speed up fault detection and sterilizer repair times. Equipment control is a way to find out whether or not your sterilizer is doing its job properly. (a Bowie-Dick type test) is a disposable pack used to evaluate the efficacy of the vacuum system of a pre-vacuum sterilizer. Performed daily, this test is a quick indication of sterilizer malfuction. This test is not a sterility test, but it is an integral part of a comprehensive sterility assurance program.
